At Cornelia Street Cafe, 6 pm Sunday November 30 Michael Lydon will lead a birthday reading of the works of MARK TWAIN, America's greatest humorist and one of its most profound writers. Selections will come from, of course, Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, but also from lesser known works including Life on the Mississippi, Roughing It, Innocents Abroad, and the dark masterpiece Pudden'head Wilson.
"Read Twain once," says Lydon, "and you laugh, twice and you cry, three times and you start thinking in ways you never thought before."
Reading with Lydon will be actors Frank Ridley, Dee Nelson, and Kim Sykes.
